Today I will show you a recipe for a delicious low carb keto pizza crust.

The easy dough consists of only three ingredients and is ready within a few minutes. This makes our keto pizza perfect for during the week.

Of course, the pizza can also be made as a vegetarian version by changing the topping accordingly.

Ingredients

  • 175g grated mozzarella cheese (Important: Only mozzarella that has already been grated may be used. With self grated mozzarella the crust becomes too liquid!)
  • 175g skyr or quark
  • 3 eggs
  • Some oregano and pepper

Ingredients for the topping

  • Some tomato sauce without any additional ingredients
  • 75g grated mozzarella or pizza cheese
  • 50g cooked ham in slices
  • 50g bacon in slices
  • 1 large or 2-3 small mushrooms
  • 1/2 onion

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 150° C / 300° F circulating air.

2. Mix the skyr, the grated mozzarella and the eggs in a large bowl. Season with some oregano and pepper.

3. Spread the dough on a baking tray with baking paper and pre-bake for 10 to 15 minutes.

4. In the meantime, cut the ingredients for the topping. Take the pre-baked crust out of the oven, spread with tomato sauce and put the rest of the ingredients on top.

5. Bake for another 10 to 15 minutes until the desired cooking level is reached.

Notes and useful information

  • Keto side dishes

A mixed salad with raw vegetables, olive oil and apple cider vinegar is the perfect side dish for this keto pizza. You can also serve it with mediterranean vegetables.

  • High protein pizza

Due to the high protein content this pizza is perfect for weight loss. When you lose weight protein ensures that you are less hungry and protects your muscle mass from degradation.

  • Try different toppings

You can use whatever you like as a topping. Try a vegetarian keto pizza or add some spicy salami or spinach and salmon. You can adjust the recipe to your taste.
