To prepare the protein shake, you only need ingredients that you can get in every grocery store. It contains healthy fats, healthy carbohydrates and high quality protein.

  • 150g greek yogurt (buy a low fat, high protein version like the one from FAGE)
  • 1 medium sized banana (100g)
  • 15 to 20g natural almond butter or ground almonds
  • 150g water or low fat milk
  • A little cinnamon
  • A calorie free sweetener of choice (xylitol, erythritol, …)


1. Put the greek yogurt, the banana and almond butter or ground almonds in a blender.

2. Add 150g of water or milk, a little bit of sweetener and some cinnamon.

3. Close the blender, switch it on and let it run until everything is nice and creamy.

Notes and useful information

  • This is how you can modify the protein shake

You can use shredded coconut instead of ground almonds. Instead of almond butter you can also use peanut butter. Always use unprocessed nut butter without any unnecessary ingredients like palm oil, sugar, salt or additives.

If you want to add some more healthy fats, just adjust the amount of nut butter accordingly.

If you want a protein shake with an even higher protein content, just use twice the amount of greek yogurt and banana.
